Wednesday Talks

Throughout May, June and September Jean Perry will give a short talk on Wednesday mornings at 11am. The talk is included in the price of the garden entrance 5 euro and there is no need to book.

May

6th – Planting up containers and pots.

13th – Growing annual flowers for cutting.

20th – Maintaining a succession of salad throughout the summer.

27th – Using flowers and herbs to create a micro environment in the veg garden.

June

3rd – The herb garden – growing through gravel.

10th – Mulching for fertility, weed control and retention of water.

17th – Tomato growing.

24th – Composting.

September

2nd – Raised beds and designing your veg garden.

9th – Using your tunnel for winter supplies.

16th -  Putting the veg garden to bed.
