The award winning Glebe cafe and restaurant is run by the Perry sisters. Tessa, Keziah, JoJo and Mia have all travelled and returned home with the aim to share the Glebe experience with a larger audience.
Inspired by the produce grown by their parents they endeavor to keep the menu as fresh and as vibrant as possible. The menu is dictated by the seasons and at the beginning of each year, with Jean and Peter they decide on the seeds to be sown and the vegetables to be grown to keep the garden and the menu changing. The weeds are as important as the cultivated crops and in the spring time when the garden is abundant with new growth from nettles and goosegrass you may find yourself tucking into a bowl of delicious, iron rich foragers soup. All of the food is prepared from scratch at the Glebe from the daily bread to the occasional batch of goats milk cheese. The vegetables are picked in the morning and are on your plate that day.
