Paris in the 1900s - West Cork College in Glebe Gardens

Starts 7pm 28th February in Glebe Restaurant, Skibbereen.

Come with us for a tour of the cafes and salons of Paris in the 1900s. Meet the painters, writers and thinkers whose works created revolutionary artistic and literary movements. Enter the world of Van Gogh, Gauguin, Monet, Cézanne and perhaps take a glass of absinthe with Tolouse-Lautrec. Paris is the City of Lights and writers such as Emile Zola, Charles Baudelaire, Marcel Proust, Gertrude Stein, James Joyce and Ernest Hemingway were to be found drinking coffee and discussing ideas in the literary salons.
